I'm so glad you're here.

Hey, I'm Barbie.  I woke up in September 13, 2015 with Bell's Palsy on the left side of my face.  I have been through a lot, learned a lot and shared a lot.

I am not a doctor (way too much school), or an expert in any way.  I like to talk.  I am open, real and love to make people laugh.  I have tried a LOT of things to help with Bell's, some have worked, some have not and some were just super weird!

I started the BP Talk community blog to be a resource for those who are going through the incredibly hard journey of Bell's.  Because listen up - you are a survivor.  And one day you will wear your new smile like a badge of honour.

You are not alone.  And you will be ok.  This community is here to help you - let's talk!

So much of the conversation happens over at BP TALK on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK so come join in!

I am loud about learning self care, boundaries, and limits from my sassy point of view.

"I encourage you to step up and be yourself.
It's so much better than the alternative".

Love notes

“Thank you for sharing. You are strong, so funny and fierce! Forever grateful to have such a light to look up to.”
