I'm so glad you're here.
Hey, I'm Barbie. I woke up in September 2015 with Bell's Palsy on the left side of my face. I have been through a lot, learned a lot and shared a lot.

I am not a doctor or a medical expert in any way, but I like to talk. I am open, real and love to make people laugh. I have tried a LOT of things to help with Bell's, some have worked, some have not and some were just plain crazy.
I started the BP Talk community to be a resource for those who are going through the incredibly hard journey of Bell's. Because listen up - you are a survivor. And one day you will wear your new smile like a badge of honour.
You are not alone. And you will be ok. This community is here to help you - let's talk!
I like to talk to followers, supporters and educators of all kinds on Bell's Palsy Talk about their stories. If you would like to tell yours, please email me.

BP Resource Links
Welcome! When I woke up in 2015 with Bell's Palsy, the first thing I did was of course - Google it! Here are some links I have found around the web. While I do look for reputable sources and take the advice of professionals in the field, I do not endorse the following links in any way. Please do your own research and follow your heart. You will heal in your own time and this community is here to support you.
If you have links or resources to share - please send them in!
