I'm so glad you're here.

Hi!  I'm Barbie.
I started Bell's Palsy Talk to create a community of like-minded, supportive people.  We encourage each other to use our voices, focus on self-care and live our best lives.  What I want for you:
🧡  To feel supported and loved - because you are.

🧡  To speak up for your needs - because you matter.

🧡  To use your voice to tell your story - because it's important.

🧡  To know - you are not alone - because you're not.
I am your biggest cheerleader.
Let's talk.

I am not a doctor or a medical expert in any way, but I like to talk. I am open, real and love to make people laugh. I have tried a LOT of things to help with Bell's, some have worked, some have not and some were just plain crazy.

I started the BP Talk community to be a resource for those who are going through the incredibly hard journey of Bell's.  Because listen up - you are a survivor.  And one day you will wear your new smile like a badge of honour.

You are not alone.  And you will be ok.  This community is here to help you - let's talk!

Bell's Palsy Resource Links

When I woke up in 2015 with Bell's Palsy, the first thing I did was of course - Google it!  Here are some links I have found around the web.  While I do look for reputable sources and take the advice of professionals in the field, I do not endorse the following links in any way.  Please do your own research and follow your heart.  You will heal in your own time and this community is here to support you.

If you have links or resources to share - please send them in!
