The Overwhelm.

Trev asked me last night.. "so how was your day?" Me - "Good, but I feel under the weather. Well - I also had a couple issues that were upsetting, you know.. the general overwhelm. But it was really good". Then we have a little laugh because that's most days.. right? At this time of year that is how I describe my feelings.. but it's the easy way out. How are you ACTUALLY feeling? Stop and check in. Remember, you can only get so much done. This is not an "inspirational" statement. It's physically impossible to do everything you have on your "To Do" list for the day.. Right? Cut the list, do as much as you can.. and feel happy with it. Because guess what. It's gonna wait. And if it doesn't, you're going to miss it anyway. Look at what you DID get done, or else forgive yourself for putting higher expectations on yourself that are most likely impossible to win at. I am good. I have so many exciting things happening right now. I am happy and I deserve it. And hey guess what - so do you. It's overwhelming. So get happy about it.. or get out ;).
